RANGERS REACH SEMIS

Rangers recently managed to reach the semifinals of the Ramsdens Cup after managing to beat Queen of South 3-0 in a match. After the encounter, Rangers manager Ally McCoist said that he is extremely delighted to have reached the semifinals.

Even though Rangers are now the favourite to win the title, McCoist thinks that only winning the league title will help him keep his job. Rangers are the favourites to win the league one title this season. McCoist has also said that Rangers are also looking at the prospect of winning the Scottish cup as well.

There has been a lot of criticism of the way Rangers have taken to the cup competitions this season. They are expected to promote youth team players from the squad after their relegation to the third division of Scottish football. Instead, McCoist has been very active in the transfer window and they have brought in several players. The Rangers manager has reacted to this criticism by saying that he simply does not have the time to have trust in them players. He thinks that there will be a time when Rangers will shift their attention towards young players.
Rangers currently have a six-point advantage at the top of the league table after six games.

"The one I want to win is the league because I won't be in a job if I don't get us promoted. But I want to win every competition we enter and we're still in the Ramsdens and Scottish Cup this season. It would be great to win the Ramsdens Cup, but we want to win every cup we're in," said McCoist after the 3-0 win over Queen of South. Their next match will be against Forfar Athletic in the league followed by a home match against Stenhousemuir next week.
